Now, the Mets appear wise to have refrained from pursuing a Juan Soto deal with the Nationals.<\/p>\n<h2>New York Mets Appear Wise To Have Refrained From Pursuing Juan Soto The Cost Of Their Best Prospects<\/h2>\n<p>Not that Soto, who indisputably ranks among the top five hitters in baseball, is having a horrible season. If not for the few weeks of MLB service time, he would be nearly CJ Abrams&#8217; equal.
