American manager and former infielder Aaron Boone is in charge of the MLB’s New York Yankees. From 1997 through 2009, he spent 13 seasons as a player in the MLB. Boone’s best-known season as a player was his time with the Yankees in 2003 when he was an All-Star and hit the game-winning walk-off home run in the 2003 American League Championship Series. From 2010 through 2017, Boone worked as an analyst for ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball and Baseball Tonight when his playing career came to an end.<\/p>\n
