Jalen Beeks<\/a> is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays<\/a>. He is American. Beeks was chosen by the Boston Red Sox in the twelfth round of the 2014 MLB draught. For the Red Sox, he made his MLB debut in 2018. He enrolled at Crowder College before transferring to the University of Arkansas, where he competed for the Arkansas Razorbacks in collegiate baseball.<\/p>\n

Beeks was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays on July 25, 2018. In 104+1\/3 innings pitched at the MLB level, he concluded the 2019 season with a 6-3 record, a 4.31 ERA, a 1.49 WHIP, and 89 strikeouts. In honor of LGBTQ+ Pride on June 4, 2022, Beeks chose not to wear a Rays team insignia and cap for the franchise’s annual Pride Night.<\/p>\n
