The New York Post’s<\/a> Andrew Marchand reported that CBS became concerned about Tony Romo’s level of preparation for the network’s football telecasts.<\/p>\n

CBS Called An Intervention On Tony Romo With Regards To Downfall In Quality<\/h2>\n

Marchand and John Ourand this week discussed the network’s worries in their podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cTony Romo needs to study more,\u201d Marchand said on The Marchand and Ourand Sports Media Podcast.<\/a> <\/em>\u201cHe needs to be better prepared. As you move away from the sidelines, you need to do more work. I know CBS is aware of this. They tried an intervention last offseason. They knew, they anticipated this. That\u2019s a credit to them, the people in charge there. But it has not gotten better.\u201d<\/p>\n

CBS had attempted an \u201cintervention\u201d with broadcaster Tony Romo in advance of the 2022 season, but things \u201cdid not get better\u201d per @AndrewMarchand<\/a><\/p>\n
