Canadian professional basketball player Trey Lyles plays for the NBA’s Sacramento Kings. The Utah Jazz selected him in the first round of the draft after his first year at the University of Kentucky. Lyles was one of the top high school basketball players in the country, and Kentucky, Indiana, and Louisville all actively pursued him. He led Arsenal Tech to the IHSAA Class 4A State Championship game with a 63-59 victory over Lake Central during his senior year of high school, averaging 23.7 points, 12.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game. Lyles was chosen as Indiana Mr. Basketball following the conclusion of his senior year.<\/p>\n
