A professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the NBA, Dwight Powell is Canadian. He is a member of the Canadian national team and formerly played college basketball for the Stanford Cardinal. Powell, a five-star recruit according to Rivals.com, was ranked as the eighth-best power forward and the 25th-best player in the country in 2010. Powell was named to the Pac-10 All-Student Team while a freshman at Stanford University in 2010\u20132011.<\/p>\n
