The number of teams that have contacted Judge is unknown, but the Yankees have made it obvious that they are trying to keep the star right fielder.<\/p>\n<p>Judge infamously rejected the seven-year, $213 million offer from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlb.com\/yankees\">Yankees<\/a> during spring training. On Thursday, general manager Brian Cashman said that the team had upgraded its offer to the AL MVP.<\/p>\n<h2>Brian Cashman Says Yankees Made New Offer To Aaron Judge<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cI<em>t\u2019s in real-time, so we\u2019re on the clock,\u201d <\/em><strong>Cashman<\/strong> said.<em> \u201cWe\u2019re certainly not going to mess around. Furthermore, Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner said that he and Judge have spoken with each other numerous times since the completion of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Steinbrenner told Newsday&#8217;s David Lennon, <em>&#8220;I&#8217;ve absolutely communicated that I want him to be a Yankee for the rest of his life.&#8221; &#8220;There&#8217;s no denying that.
