This season has been arguably his toughest season to date, given everything that is happening on the football field and everything that has happened off it as well. At the end of the 2021 season, Brady announced that he would be retiring from professional football. It is now well-documented that the biggest reason for his marriage falling apart was his decision to return to football. It is reported that his wife Gisele Bundchen, was livid when he made the call and that was the final straw in their relationship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tom Brady shares his thoughts on his return to football<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a recent press conference, Brady was asked if he regretted coming back to football. He said, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cZero, no. Definitely not. I returned because I felt like I wanted to compete and I spoke to the team about it and they were excited to have me back. I don\u2019t really regret those types of things \u2014 I think when I commit to it, I mean it and I do my best and try to give everything I can to this particular opportunity.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Tom Brady on if he has any regrets about ending his retirement after 40 days this off-season. \u201cZero. The Tampa Bay <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buccaneers.com\/\">Buccaneers<\/a> are 4-5 after nine games. Although they have a shot at making it into the postseason, making it the Super Bowl or even winning it seems highly unlikely.
