And in order to do so, he has enlisted the services of Bank Of America to help facilitate a sale. Daniel Snyder bought the Commanders in 1999 for a whopping $800 million. If he is able to get the value he is after, it will make the sale of the Commanders the most expensive sale of a sports team in the history of the world. This also means that the sale might take a lot of time as there are not many people in the world that can afford a football team that costs $5.6 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Huge legal hurdle for Daniel Snyder ahead of his move to sell the Washington Commanders<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Snyder\u2019s proposed sale of the Commanders might have just suffered a huge blow after a recent report released by ESPN.
