There is a long-standing joke that being an NFL team owner in the United States is equivalent to being knighted in the United Kingdom. Being a team owner also places a lot of responsibility not only towards the league and the sport, but also the city or state the team is representing. Fast forward 23 years and the Washington Commanders are now worth a whopping $5.6 billion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jim Irsay&#39;s latest comments about Daniel Snyder and the Commanders were made during an approximately 25-minute phone interview Friday evening. At the time of buying the Commanders, Snyder was seen as a good candidate and won all the votes in order to become a team owner. Over time, Snyder has lost the confidence of his fellow team owners and many are now calling for him to be removed as a team owner in the NFL and for the Commanders to be sold to new ownership.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Daniel Snyder of the Washington Commanders hits back at Jim Irsay\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While there have been many who have criticized Snyder, no one has been more vocal than Jim Irsay, the owner of the Indianapolis Colts. The statement said, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate that Mr. Irsay continues to behave in a way that clearly is in violation of the Constitution of the NFL.
