American football coach John Harbaugh is the head coach of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. Prior to this, he spent nine years as the Philadelphia Eagles’ special teams coordinator and coached the defensive backs for the team. John Harbaugh completed his high school education at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where his father Jack worked as Bo Schembechler’s assistant at the adjacent University of Michigan.<\/p>\n

John Harbaugh Coaching Career<\/h2>\n

He was one of four assistant coaches retained by new head coach Andy Reid in 1999 after being hired for the first time in the NFL by the Philadelphia Eagles’ then-coach Ray Rhodes in 1998. In the Sid Gillman coaching tree as a result, he received a master’s degree and served as an assistant football coach at Western Michigan from 1984 to 1987.<\/p>\n
