Conor McGregor is the biggest star in MMA and might just be the biggest star in combat sports at the moment. Over the past few years, Conor McGregor\u2019s fame has transcended the sport of MMA. \u2018The Notorious\u2019 has been seen everywhere from fashion shows, to talk shows and everything in between mingling with A-list celebrities and elites from the world of business.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While things have not been going well for him inside the octagon, things outside the octagon have picked up the pace for McGregor. Recently, the former two-division champions stated that he would be making his Hollywood debut in a movie titled \u2018Road House\u2019 alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. It is reported that McGregor did not want anything that would move his focus away from fighting, but once he learned that he was being considered for his movie, \u2018The Notorious\u2019 watched the original movie and decided this was the perfect fit for him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Given that McGregor will be shooting for a movie, he will most definitely not compete this year. The common consensus is that McGregor will return to action in the first half of 2023. It will be interesting to see who he faces on his return. Will it be in the UFC<\/a> for the title or will it be in a boxing ring? Only time will tell. Needless to say, whatever ‘The Notorious’ decides to pursue, it will be a massive success.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
