<\/p>\nAfter missing all of last season due to a ruptured ACL in his right knee, Kawhi Leonard is back with the Los Angeles Clippers this year. Leonard re-signed with the Clippers on August 12, 2021, to a maximum four-year, $176.3 million deal with the fourth year being a player option after choosing to forego the last year of his initial contract. After healing from a partial ACL injury in his right knee, Leonard sat out the whole campaign.<\/p>\n

Without Leonard, the Clippers concluded the regular season with a record of 42-40 and earned a spot in the Play-In Tournament, but were unable to go further due to losses to the Minnesota Timberwolves and the New Orleans Pelicans.<\/p>\n
