Mounting student debt is one of the most pressing issues currently facing this country. Every year, thousands of students take out loans in the six figures in order to go to college, and by the time they are done with college, they have huge payments with exorbitant rates of interest that they have to pay which cripples them financially. In a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan asked four-time league MVP, Aaron Rodgers<\/a>, his thoughts on the issue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rodgers said, <\/span>\u201cBut it’s not pushed uh you know it’s shame you’re shamed almost if you don’t go to college right oh yeah it’s never pushed like hey go learn a technical skill right where you can do a year of apprenticeship or college or study yeah and then go make six figures in a job.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Rogan added on the matter,<\/span> \u201cI mean it’s a [ _ ] business and it’s also for many people something that they’re not going to use for whatever occupation they choose I mean maybe it will help them get a job if it shows that they have a bachelor’s in this or a master’s in that but there’s a large number of people out there that are out there working in a field that is not even their field of study in college.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
