The Carolina Panthers’ third year with head coach Matt Rhule will be their 28th in the National Football League. They’ll want to outperform their 5-12 record from the previous year and make the playoffs for the first time since the 2017 campaign. The Carolina Panthers training camp gets underway on July 26.<\/p>\n

With multiple starting positions<\/a> and even backup roles up for grabs, Spartanburg could be the scene of some highly exciting two weeks. In the first two seasons under coach Matt Rhule, the Panthers have seen poor outcomes and horrible luck.<\/p>\n

Even if part of their difficulties were self-inflicted, Rhule would have a better chance of contending and eventually preserving his job if he could keep Christian McCaffrey and other important players healthy.<\/p>\n
