The whole calendar for the upcoming 2022-23 College Football Bowl games were made public, and it includes 43 games spread across three weeks in December and January. The action starts on December 16 with the Bahamas Bowl and continues until January 9 at SOFI Stadium in Inglewood, California, where the College Football Playoff national winner will be announced.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Saturday, December 17, a jam-packed seven-game slate serves as the early schedule’s highlight. There are no bowl games scheduled for January 1 due to New Year’s Day coming on a Sunday, which is an odd anomaly for a day that is usually important in college football’s playoffs. Instead, the biggest days of the postseason will be January 2 and New Year’s Eve.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Allstate Sugar Bowl, Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, and Fiesta Bowl will all be held on New Year’s Eve. The Peach and Fiesta Bowls will either start at 4 p.m. or 8 p.m., while the Sugar Bowl will start at noon.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl will both take place on January 2 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., respectively. The national championship game is set to take place at SoFi Stadium on Jan. 9, although the start time is undetermined.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Peach Bowl and Fiesta Bowl, both CFP semifinal contests, are scheduled for December 31. The Cotton Bowl, Citrus Bowl, and Rose Bowl will take place on January 2. Following the conclusion of the conference championship games on Sunday, December 4, the names of the bowl participants will be announced.<\/span><\/p>\n
