Abdul-Jabbar faced up against Wes Unseld and the Baltimore Bullets in the first of his several championship games. After averaging 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 assists per game throughout the regular season, Abdul-Jabbar had just won his first regular-season MVP award. In a four-game sweep, the Bucks were able to defeat the Bullets and win their first-ever NBA title.<\/span><\/p>\n
