Michael Chandler has set the lightweight division on fire ever since his explosive debut against Dan Hooker at UFC 257. \u2018Iron\u2019 has competed four times in the UFC<\/a> with a record of two apiece in wins and losses. In his most recent outing, Chandler landed a front kick from hell that shut the lights out on Tony Ferguson in what will easily be a front runner for knockout of the year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After the win, Chandler called out two men for a fight. Charles Oliveira was the first name on the list as he wants to avenge his loss from last year. The second fighter on the list was Conor McGregor. The former Bellator champion believes that a fight between him and McGregor will be extremely entertaining.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While this has been well received by fans, former interim champion Dustin Poirier issued a warning to Michael Chandler about a possible fight with McGregor. He said, <\/span>\u201cI think he called out Conor (McGregor). Conor is a dangerous fight for him, too, you know. I\u2019m not saying Chandler\u2019s chinny or anything. But he gets hurt in a lot of his fights. And guys like Conor, they can punch.\u201d<\/span><\/i>
