UFC welterweight megastar Jorge Masvidal isn\u2019t one to mince words and \u2018Gamebred\u2019 shared his principles about his family in a recent interview. Making mention of his ongoing legal battle against friend-turned-foe Colby Covington surrounding an alleged battery attempt, Masvidal aimed to provide some clarity.<\/p>\n

While he made sure to not speak out too much given the active nature of the case, Jorge Masvidal said that he wasn\u2019t about to let anyone disrespect his family. Moreover, he talked about how he came from a different place compared to many people, and hence operated a certain way.<\/p>\n

Jorge Masvidal vs Colby Covington: Inside and outside the cage<\/h2>\n

Many fans believed that the long-drawn rivalry between Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington would come to a head when both men would face each other at UFC 272 in March. Covington was the one who came out on top and, according to the MMA community, the rivalry was put to bed.<\/p>\n

However, the story wasn\u2019t completed just yet as Jorge Masvidal allegedly attacked Colby Covington in a street altercation at a Miami steakhouse.
