UFC lightweight Charles Oliveira is the man of the hour after his impressive victory at UFC 274 which catapulted him further in the eyes of the fans. \u2018Do Bronx\u2019 submitted Justin Gaethje in the first round of their fight, and the contest was action-packed for as long as it lasted.<\/p>\n

Once Oliveira secured a back-take on his opponents, it has become virtually impossible to stop his world-class ground game, and ultimately, Justin Gaethje also fell victim to his jiu-jitsu.<\/p>\n

Despite winning the fight, Charles Oliveira is not the lightweight belt holder since he missed weight during the weigh-in for UFC 274. The Brazilian came in at 155.5 pounds and the commission ruled that he wouldn\u2019t be eligible to win the belt even if he won the fight.<\/p>\n

However, despite the setback, lightweight fighters on the roster continue to call Charles Oliveira out as he is unequivocally the best lightweight fighter on the planet. UFC megastar Conor McGregor was the most recent name who took to Twitter and bashed Oliveira for his recent claims.<\/p>\n

Conor McGregor continues his beef with Brazilian fighters<\/h2>\n

McGregor responded to a bold claim made by Charles Oliveira, who was firing on all cylinders in his own fight. \u2018Do Bronx\u2019 made an appeal to Dana White, requesting him to become the first fighter to scrap two high-level fighters in the UFC on the same night.<\/p>\n

Charles Oliveira promised that he would successfully knock out Conor McGregor and then go on to submit Nate Diaz on the same night. This insinuation wasn\u2019t very well received by Conor McGregor, who lashed out at the former undisputed champion.<\/p>\n

Notably, this isn\u2019t the first time Conor McGregor<\/a> has talked about Brazilian fighters in a disparaging way and he made similar comments about sending Jose Aldo back to the favelas when they fought back at UFC 194. These comments came days after McGregor promised to continue his streak of earning KO\u2019s over Brazilians, once again referencing his scrap with Jose Aldo.<\/p>\n
