Conor McGregor is without a doubt the biggest draw in the UFC. His two fights with Poirier in 2021 sold over three million PPVs combined. Therefore, a return to action for McGregor is good news for the fans as well as the promotion. However, there are a multitude of options for McGregor once he decides to return to the octagon.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The most obvious matchups for \u2018The Notorious\u2019 are rematches against the likes of Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier. However, at this point in time, it seems as though the UFC is keen on getting a fight done between Poirier and Nate Diaz, if that were to happen within the next few months, \u2018Mystic Mac\u2019 could return to face the winner of that fight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Alternatively, Jorge Masvidal<\/a> has also emerged as an option for \u2018The Notorious\u2019 to face on his return given \u2018Gamebred\u2019s\u2019 recent run of form.
