Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> quarterback Trevor Lawrence will have to wait until Week 2 to get cheers from the Jaguars supporters at the TIAA Bank Field. Lawrence will make his NFL debut against the Houston Texans in the Jaguars’ highly anticipated 2021 season opener. Urban Meyer will be coaching his first NFL game<\/a> on the road.<\/span><\/p>\n

Three of the Jaguars’ first five games will be played at TIAA Bank Field, according to the team’s 17-game schedule released Wednesday night. As it stands, their season opener on September 12 at NRG Stadium in Houston will be the first time they will open on the road since beating the New York Giants<\/a> 20-15 at MetLife Stadium in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n
